Greener Neighbourhoods Pilot Program

ReCover is leading the development of a practical, region-wide approach to deep retrofits to cut energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in Atlantic Canada’s most common residential buildings.

This project focuses on multi-unit residential buildings and will produce a Retrofit Roadmap to guide deep retrofit action locally.

Discovery roundtable sessions

ReCover is listening to homeoweners in Atlantic Canada. These roundtable discussions ask questions that get to the root of the deep retrofit issue.

Our work centres around four goals

Goal 1

Build a connected deep retrofit community across Atlantic Canada.

Goal 2

Assess the region’s housing stock to identify key building types for retrofits.

Goal 3

Conduct a feasibility study and develop retrofit strategies for 220 homes in two Union of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaw communities.

Goal 4

Create and share a comprehensive Retrofit Roadmap to accelerate retrofit adoption.
